Food & Drink

As well as our three modern function rooms, we have other facilities that we hope will complement your booking.  

Kitchen facility

The kitchen is fitted with a double oven and hob, a dishwasher, separate sinks for utensil, hand and food wash, two fridges, a water boiler, a microwave, a freezer (available on request) and a hot cupboard, ensuring any caterers, professional or ametuer, have all the appliances necessary to whip up a culinary delight!

(Please note that pans, ovenware and cooking/preparation utensils are not supplied).

The kitchen is hired at £30 per day (if hired in a addition to one of our function rooms). Should you require full day oven (fully cooking) use please speak to us for charges. The cost of the kitchen maybe reduced depending on use. Our prices and booking page has further details of our room hire charges charges. 

You may wish to view our list of recommended suppliers which includes local caterers who have all catered functions at the Hall and used our kitchen.

Tables and chairs

We can supply chairs and both rectangular and circular tables to set up the rooms however you require (up to the maximum capacity). These are included in the price of hire. 

Our circular tables are 5ft in diameter and seat 8-10 people depending on the amount of room you require.

Our rectangular tables come in a variety of sizes with the majority being 6ft in length seating 3 people down each side. Please ask for more details.

Crockery, cutlery and glassware hire

The following are hired at £2.50 per person however many of the items are required (up to 200 people); cutlery, wine glasses, champagne flutes, water tumblers and water jugs, dinner plates, salad plates, side plates, soup bowls and desert bowls.

For example if a party of 10 people required dinner plates, desert bowls, cutlery, water tumblers and wine glasses, the total charge would be £25 for the group. 

Available in the kitchen, and included in the kitchen hire cost of £30 (prices vary depending on use), are basic cups and saucers, tea pots, coffee jugs and standard cutlery.

Licensed bar

The bar is fully-licensed and is staffed by volunteers from the Parish Hall's Management Committee.The bar stocks ale and lager from Thornbridge Brewery and real ale may often be ordered on request from the local Old Poets Corner Brewery.

All the usual spirits, wines and soft drinks are served alongside brands such as Stowford Press, Bulmers, Jagermeister, Red Bull and a selection of flavoured gins. The bar can be opened at times to suit specific requirements where possible. The cost to open the bar is £20 per session (a session being an afternoon or evening)

Corkage

We can supply you with wine for your event - please ask for a quote.

Alternatively you can bring your own and pay our corkage charge. Please enquire regarding corkage costs.
