Rooms are hired by the hour, our price list can be viewed below. However, we do offer block booking packages for events such weddings and parties. Please contact us for further details.

Amber Hall Theatre Lighting £2.50 per hour.

To make a booking

Firstly, please check our online calendar to see if the date you would like to book looks to be available.

Please note the calendar is only a guide and we can't guarantee it is 100% accurate. So please contact us with your requirements and to check availability.

Our reception is open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 3pm. 

If you would like to come to view the Hall please get in touch. If you can't get to us during office opening times, we can usually show you round on a Saturday if you make an appointment.  

Confirming your booking

Once we've checked that the date/s you want to book are available, we will send you a link so you can fill in our booking form and sign our terms and conditions online.  

Or, if you'd prefer we can email copies of the forms or post them out to you.

We usually request a deposit of £20 for a single day booking. For a multiple day or wedding booking we require £100. We'll let you know how much you need to pay once we know your requirements.

We'll hold your booking for 2 weeks to allow you to get the booking forms back to us and pay the deposit. If you don't send the forms back within 2 weeks, we'll make the dates/times available to other hirers.

Payment methods

Accepted methods of payment for Parish Hall hire:

  • Cash
  • Card payments (additional charge for credit card transactions)
  • Cheques payable to: Ashover Parish Hall (address below)
  • Online payments.

If you wish to make an online payment our details are:

  • Bank Account No: 79558703

Please use your surname as the reference and let us know you have made the payment so we can check we've received it.

Paying the remaining balance

We will invoice you for the remaining balance around four weeks before the date of the booking. We'll usually send you the invoice by email or post. It will need to be paid in full two weeks before your event unless by prior arrangement (local authorities, charities). 

Access to the hall

As our reception isn't open all the time, you will need to contact us to arrange to come to the Hall a few days before the booking to collect a key. We will explain how to use the alarm system and clarify emergency procedures such as fire exits. Don't worry - it's all very simple!
