The Ashover Show is a cherished annual event held in Ashover, Derbyshire, celebrated for its rich agricultural heritage and vibrant community atmosphere. Step back in time at Ashover Parish Hall’s Artefact Day — a fascinating community event where history comes to life. Visitors can explore a diverse collection of local artefacts, historical relics, and vintage photographs showcasing Ashover’s rich heritage. From agricultural tools and wartime memorabilia to family heirlooms and school records, there’s something to spark curiosity in every generation. Local historians will be on hand to share insights, and residents are encouraged to bring along their own items to display or discuss. With informative displays, storytelling sessions, and refreshments available, Artefact Day offers a unique opportunity to connect with Ashover’s past in a hands-on, family-friendly setting.

All the fabulous festive materials are included for you to make a unique selection of Christmas floral arrangements which have been specially deigned so they last throughout the holiday season. No prior knowledge is required as all techniques and methods will be demonstrated to ensure you leave with a truly inspirational selection of decorations ready to adorn your home for Christmas. The gorgeous designs that we will create will include a spectacular festive door wreath, a magnificent table arrangement plus a mixture of contemporary and classic designs using fabulous foliage’s, twigs, bountiful berries and yuletide flowers.
