What happens if you take the intoxicating swing and feel of gypsy jazz, add storytelling songs inspired by English and Celtic folk, and throw in a pinch of bluesy roots & rhythm? Gypsy-jazzy-rootsy-folk, of course!
Experienced performers, Scratchy Beard are an up-beat and enjoyable live quartet offering something a little different: very accessible roots/alt-folk/gypsy jazz music with an ear-catching line up of guitar, cello, drums & clarinet with, at times, three-part and four-part harmonies along with a reed organ, tin whistles, melodica & bottle-top slide guitar.

No prior knowledge is required as all techniques and methods will be demonstrated to ensure you leave with a truly inspirational selection of decorations ready to adorn your home for Christmas. The gorgeous designs that we will create will include a spectacular festive door wreath, a magnificent table arrangement plus a mixture of contemporary and classic designs using fabulous foliage’s, twigs, bountiful berries and yuletide flowers.

Eastwood Grange is an independent special day school for children and young people aged 5–19. Our students have a wide range of complex educational, social, emotional and mental health needs, and many have experienced challenges in other school settings.
Through the right support, encouragement, and a safe environment, young people are able to thrive – and their artwork is a wonderful reflection of their resilience, imagination, and growth. 💛

The Ashover Show is a cherished annual event held in Ashover, Derbyshire, celebrated for its rich agricultural heritage and vibrant community atmosphere.
