Colin is returning to a circle of old friends who are wondering how best they can break some bad news to him about his fiancee. They decide to throw a tea party for him. But his friends are tangled together with a mixture of business and extra-marital problems and the tensions between them erupt before Colin arrives. Colin enters the fray totally happy and oblivious to what is going. His friends relationships reach breaking point while they try to act normal around him.
